Cadernos Nietzsche represents a unique initiative, comparable only to Nietzsche-Studien in Germany, or, more recently, to Estúdios Nietzsche in Spain. Considered one of the best philosophical journals in our country, Cadernos Nietzsche is published three times a year and is also part of the Scielo-base – it has gotten a Qualis rating score of A1 (issued by CAPES – Brazil’s Ministry of Education Agency for the Improvement of Higher Education). Since its foundation in 1996, Cadernos Nietzsche has carried out two basic directives: it aims at producing for the Brazilian public highly diverse readings of Nietzsche’s thought and publishing essays written by distinguished foreign researchers, as well as Brazilian well-stablished scholars and postgraduate students.
