Fundado en 1996 por Scarlett Marton, el GEN se conect\u00f3 inicialmente al Departamento de Filosof\u00eda de la Universidad de S\u00e3o Paulo. Hoy en d\u00eda se encuentra presente en todo Brasil, de Cear\u00e1 a Rio Grande do Sul, y contin\u00faa con el prop\u00f3sito de avanzar en las investigaciones acerca del pensamiento nietzscheano para lo cual considera que es esencial promover la discusi\u00f3n sobre las diversas interpretaciones de los textos del fil\u00f3sofo. Desde 2016, est\u00e1 dirigido por Wilson Frezzatti.<\/p>\n<p>Proyecto pionero en Am\u00e9rica del sur, el GEN pretende no s\u00f3lo fomentar los estudios nietzscheanos entre nosotros, como dialogar con las distintas Nietzsche Societies y con los Centros internacionales de investigaci\u00f3n. Actuando en tres frentes diferentes, el GEN organiza sus actividades alrededor de los <em>Cadernos Nietzsche<\/em> (Cuadernos Nietzsche), de la Colecci\u00f3n <em>Sendas &amp; Veredas<\/em> y de los
